- Disinfection / replacement of the solids container
- Replacement of small parts (e.g. fastening set, cord) if damaged or incomplete.

How does a urine-diverting toilet work?
A urine-diverting toilet works completely without water. The secret: urine and solids are collected separately. This prevents the excrement from mixing - and this significantly reduces unpleasant odors.
The BOXIO urine-diverting toilet in Eurobox format works like this:
- A special separating insert directs the urine to the front into a separate tank.
- The solids fall into a container with a bag at the back.
- You then sprinkle some hemp litter over the solids. This binds moisture and also helps to reduce odors.

How resilient is the BOXIO TOILET - can I sit on it without any problems?
The folded divider insert of the BOXIO TOILET can carry a load of up to 150 kg. Important: The load should always be carried by the divider insert. The lid alone would bend, but in combination with the divider insert, the system also holds up to 150 kg.
Unpleasant odors are coming from the BOXIO TOILET - what can I do about it?
Odors are very individual and depend, for example, on diet and state of health. It is important:
- Add some litter over the solids after each large transaction to bind moisture.
- If necessary, close the bucket with the lid and empty it regularly.
- With the urine canister, you can use the closed lid or the red plug to prevent odors from escaping from the canister.
If you wish, you can use a microbiological sanitary additive. Make sure that it does not contain any aggressive chemicals.
Which litter should I use - does litter other than hemp litter also work?
Basically, all common litters work in a similar way: they remove moisture from the solids and thus reduce unpleasant odors.
We tested different types and chose hemp litter because of its excellent moisture and odor retention.
On average, one bag of hemp litter is enough for around 10-15 large toilet visits. The litter does not decompose the faeces - it "only" ensures dryness and less odor.
Does the BOXIO TOILET also work with small children?
Yes, children can also use the BOXIO TOILET . Depending on their age, it may take a little practice and a little sliding back and forth on the seat, but then the separation works reliably.
What are the dimensions of the BOXIO TOILET and will it fit in my camper?
Yes, that's exactly what it's designed for! The compact Eurobox format should find a place in every camper.
TIP: Choose a suitable place when removing the Eurobox.
- Height of the Eurobox with lid: approx. 28 cm (please allow for a 5 mm buffer when installing).
- Height of the TOILET with lid and TOILET UP: approx. 39 cm.
- The BOXIO TOILET is not compatible with Tanos Systainers and the Sortimo shelving system.
- A lower box is not possible as all components are matched to the height of our Eurobox.
How do I clean the BOXIO TOILET and which cleaning agents are suitable?
PP, ABS, HDPE and silicone are used in the BOXIO TOILET. These materials can be cleaned with a low-concentration alkaline solution of baking soda and/or vinegar with water.
You can also use a surface disinfectant - please check the material compatibility beforehand and, if in doubt, test on an inconspicuous area first.
Our BOXIO - Clean cleaner is always ready to use, but can also be diluted for light soiling to minimize consumption.
